The life size Madhubani painting mounted on the door was custom made by the very capable artisans from the town of Madhubani, Bihar. Turmeric was the base material for the ochre background. The
artwork showcases a peacock motif intertwined with fish, symbolizing prosperity, harmony & fertility.
The painting was mounted on the door of the guest bedroom & further framed, thus forming an integral, aesthetic part of the wall paneling of the Living Room.
